About TIM

Technology Innovation Management (TIM) is a masters level program leading to a Master of Applied Science (M.A.Sc.) degree, Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree, or a Master of Entrepreneurship (M.Ent.) degree. The objective of this program is to train aspiring entrepreneurs on creating wealth at the early stages of company or opportunity life cycles.

 

A degree from the TIM Program is beneficial to a variety of people, including:

Dr. Steven Muegge

Dr. Steven Muegge is the Director of the TIM program. He holds a faculty appointment as a professor of entrepreneurship in the Sprott School of Business. His areas of expertise include:

  • Non-traditional settings for innovation and entrepreneurship: business ecosystems, communities, platforms, and interconnected systems that combine these structures

Dr. Stoyan Tanev holds a faculty appointment as a professor of entrepreneurship in the Sprott School of Business. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Technology Innovation Management Review (TIM Review). His areas of expertise include:

Classes from anywhere

All classes are offered in a traditional, face-to-face university setting. However, a distinctive feature of the TIM program is that all courses are also delivered concurrently over the internet.
