On February 14, TIM Program held Gate 1 reviews for the winter semester. Gate 1 is the second stage of the Gate reviews. Students who get a green in Gate 0, which is the first stage of gate reviews are invited to present Gate 1. Gate 1 is an elaboration of the information presented in Gate 0 and emphasizes on data collection and analysis. 27 students presented Gate 1 this semester and also shared the progress they had made after Gate 0.  Students also got some great feedback from the faculty that would be useful for them to acquire the results.

Gate reviews will be taking place on Feb 22 and Feb 25, both 9:00am-4:00pm, in ME 4359. Gate 2 presentations (the last stage of the thesis or project) are scheduled for Feb 25, and most Gate 0 and 1 presentations for Feb 22. Anyone can attend. In the TIM program, every thesis goes through a gate review process. Presentations can be attended in person (ME 4359) or online.
