To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the living labs movement, the TIM Review has published a collection of the best 17 articles on living labs in a new ebook. The book was edited by Mika Westerlund (Carleton University) and Seppo Leminen (Laurea University of Applied Sciences). The foreword has been contributed by Bror Salmelin, Advisor on Innovation Systems to the European Commission. The book is available on Amazon at amzn.to/1T7obql.

TIM faculty member Prof. Mika Westerlund and his work on living labs were featured in Carleton's ResearchWorks. The living labs initiative is part of an effort of Carleton University's continuing effort to makes its research relevant to the wider community.

Westerlund's interest is in open and user innovation with particular focus on living labs. The university benefits from the research as living labs allow it to forge closer ties with the community and organizations in the region.
