TIM Review: Living Labs
The September issue of the Technology Innovation Management Review (TIM Review) has been published. This month’s theme is Living Labs, which are experiential environments and networks that integrate both user-centered research and open innovation. Living labs bring experimentation out of companies’ R&D departments to real-life environments with the participation and co-creation of users, partners, and other parties.
Our guest editors, Mika Westerlund and Seppo Leminen, have assembled authors from Belgium, Canada, Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, and the United Kingdom, who have researched and participated in living labs. They share their research, experience, and insights to help further our understanding of the benefits, methodologies, and types of living lab
